He felt as though something was never again the same, as though he was blinded by a revile. Esperanza began to see something was off in their connection however she kept quiet about it. Sooner or later, Alfredo met a man named Judge Del Valle and through him, he experienced a lady named Julia Salas. They had a productive visit at the patio while the Judge was caught up in a session of chess. They truly appreciated each other's conversation. Esperanza was beginning to get stressed "why is Alfredo returning home so late nowadays?" she thought. She chose to drop the point after he said his reason. She would not like to enjoy unwarranted jealousies. Just before Holy Week, Don Julian welcomed the judge and his family to spend Sunday evening at Tanda where he had a coconut estate and a house on the shoreline. Julia and Alfredo went for a walk by the shoreline, she informed him regarding her arrival as asked for by her folks back in the place where they grew up. Alfredo happened to unearth Julia one final time before her takeoff. He subtly needed to admit about his sentiments yet 'twas past the point of no return as Julia got some answers concerning their up and coming wedding. Right then and there, he realized that she turned chilly and it was not any more conceivable to proceed with their connection. He returned home just to have a discourse with his significant other where she broke out into tears and uncovers to him that she knew something wasn't right. Remaining consistent with his words, the wedding happened to keep away from advance issues. A couple of years after the fact, he was called to go to the town where Julia lives in.
